Vaccines won’t save Michigan from its COVID-19 surge

Vaccines are a critical tool, but they don’t stop surges that are already underway. When transmission is high and health systems are strained, we also need testing, masking, distancing, and community-level action to bend the curve. Relying on vaccines alone leaves gaps in protection and delays turning the tide.
