Public trust is vital, with regards to government, institutions & agencies, which starts from the top. Prior to the fiasco of COVID-19, there existed excellent & effective leadership; however, the public health structure which requires effective communications from competent leadership with experiences in handling infectious disease and/or pandemics was overpowered by authoritive characters.
Undoubtedly, this inadvertently dismissive behavior & unilateral approach resulted in gross misinformation, which eroded public trust.
That's why I agree with the sharing of Céline Gounder, in which she discussed the methodology and/or containment of addressing different levels of infectious diseases.
In addition Dr. Gounder touched on key factors, in restoring Public Trust which from its decline, during COVID-19 - qualified leadership style, effective communication, & vital information.
Finally, I do believe that scientific research & studies involves collaborative leadership style & critical thinking.🙏
